Production Worker – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

About the role

Sun Pharma is seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join its Dewas manufacturing facility. You will be part of a team that drives continuous improvement, ensures product quality, and upholds safety standards in a fast‑paced pharmaceutical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute production activities according to the production plan, coordinating with raw‑material, QC/QA, engineering, and utilities teams.
• Maintain online documentation such as batch production records, equipment log books, cleaning and calibration records.
• Follow cGMP, SOPs, and safety procedures throughout all process operations.
• Review draft manufacturing process records (MPR) for raw‑material quantities, equipment, and process parameters.
• Initiate and report any planned or unplanned deviations promptly.
• Support ISO 14004 and OHSAS 18001 compliance and assist in internal/external audits.
• Participate in validation and qualification activities as per approved protocols.
• Plan manpower for shifts, ensure optimal resource utilization, and maintain a clean, presentable work area.

Required profile

• B.Sc/M.Sc/B.E. in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 2–6 years of experience in pharmaceutical or related manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work on a dedicated workstation and hand over duties responsibly.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with supervisors and team members.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SAP systems.
• Familiarity with Distributed Control System (DCS) operations.
