Senior Project Manager – Operations Development

About the role

Join Alfa Laval in Pune as a Senior Project Manager responsible for leading global projects of medium to high complexity, driving production method development and implementing new technologies to maintain the company’s competitive edge.

Key responsibilities

• Run global projects in line with strategic direction, ensuring on‑time, on‑spec, and on‑budget delivery.
• Support product and factory change coordinators in implementing factory changes and validating global processes.
• Identify and execute concept studies on new processes and technologies, acting as an ambassador of Operations Development in India.
• Collaborate with other HFH factories on technology development, manufacturing transformation and digitalisation.
• Manage stakeholder communication, report to steering committees and lead improvements to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost targets.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in production/manufacturing environments with a strong background in improvement tools.
• Leadership and management experience, capable of influencing and inspiring factory management teams.
• Driven, curious and customer‑focused with strong judgement and decision‑making skills.

Required skills

• PMP, Promal, Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Prince2 project management framework.
• Improvement tools such as 5S, Kaizen.
• Understanding of GD&T and manufacturing processes (machining, forming, joining).
• Stakeholder management and strong communication abilities.
