Project Office Manager – Manufacturing Transformation

About the role

Alfa Laval India is seeking a dynamic Project Office Manager for its Satara facility. The role leads the Project Office in supporting sustainable improvements, strategic projects in the Operational and Master Plans, and supply‑chain initiatives. You will coordinate project managers across the factory and drive both large‑scale strategic projects and smaller improvement concepts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a pool of about 10 project managers, ensuring resources are aligned with strategic and operational plans.
• Manage and deliver complex strategic projects, Master‑Plan initiatives, and manufacturing‑concept improvement projects.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of experience in industrial project and program management, preferably with a background in mechanical engineering.
• Strong leadership, urgency, integrity, and a safety‑first mindset, with the ability to drive change at the operational (Gemba) level.

Required skills

• Project Management certification (PMP).
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent.
• Experience with manufacturing transformation and new manufacturing concepts.
• Technical knowledge in Mechanical Engineering.
