About the role
Husky Technologies is seeking an Engineering Team Leader to head its Mechanical platform development in Chennai. The role focuses on driving innovation, ensuring product quality, mitigating risks, and delivering solutions that meet customer expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach, mentor and cross‑train a multidisciplinary mechanical design team.
- Oversee design, development and release of new machine platforms and critical service requests.
- Ensure products align with business requirements, the Husky Operating model and customer needs.
- Plan and schedule design activities to meet committed delivery dates.
- Enforce engineering standards, quality processes and risk‑mitigation practices.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading mechanical engineering teams.
- Strong background in product development, design validation and customer support.
- Excellent communication, coaching and mentorship abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
