Production Operator – CNC Machining & Tool Grinding

About the role

Join CERATIZIT India’s high‑tech manufacturing team as a Production Operator. You will work on CNC tool grinding and machining equipment, supporting the production of precision tungsten and molybdenum components for automotive, aerospace, electronics and engineering sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Operate assigned CNC tool grinding, CNC machining and other production machines following SOPs and work instructions.
• Load and unload materials safely to meet production targets.
• Perform in‑process inspections using engineering drawings and inspection plans.
• Record inspection and production data accurately.
• Prepare and maintain tools, fixtures, gauges and accessories.
• Monitor machine conditions, report quality, safety or equipment issues promptly.
• Ensure proper product identification, barcoding and traceability.
• Maintain workplace cleanliness and 5S standards.

Required profile

• ITI in Fitter, Turner, Machinist, CNC Operator, Tool & Die Maker, Mechanical Trades or equivalent.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline preferred.
• Freshers, trainees or candidates with up to 2 years of experience.
• Basic knowledge of CNC machines, machining processes and manufacturing operations.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Willingness to work in shifts and follow safety requirements.

Required skills

• CNC operation (tool grinding and machining)
• Reading engineering drawings
• Use of Vernier Calipers, Micrometers and gauges
• Basic measurement and inspection techniques
