About the role
We are looking for an Engineering Team Leader – Electrical to head a multidisciplinary design team in Chennai. The role focuses on delivering new Husky machine platforms and supporting critical service requests while driving innovation, quality and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach, mentor and cross‑train a team of junior, senior and specialist electrical designers.
- Oversee the complete design, development and release cycle for new machine platforms and service solutions.
- Ensure products meet business‑defined requirements and align with the Husky Operating model.
- Plan and schedule design activities to meet committed delivery dates.
- Enforce product standards, risk mitigation practices and continuous improvement processes.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading electrical engineering teams in a product development environment.
- Strong background in electrical design and system integration.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent coaching and mentoring skills.
