Production Operator – CNC Tool Grinding & Machining

About the role

Join CERATIZIT India’s high‑tech manufacturing team as a Production Operator. You will work with CNC tool‑grinding and machining equipment to produce precision components for automotive, aerospace, electronics and engineering sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Operate assigned CNC tool‑grinding, CNC machining and other production machines according to SOPs and work instructions.
• Load and unload materials safely, follow machine loading charts and production plans.
• Perform in‑process inspections using engineering drawings and inspection plans.
• Record inspection and production data accurately.
• Prepare and maintain tools, fixtures, gauges and accessories required for production.
• Monitor machine conditions, report quality, safety or equipment issues promptly.
• Ensure proper product identification, barcoding and traceability after each job.
• Maintain workplace cleanliness and 5S standards.

Required profile

• ITI in Fitter, Turner, Machinist, CNC Operator, Tool & Die Maker, Mechanical Trades or equivalent.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Freshers, trainees or candidates with up to 2 years of experience.
• Basic knowledge of CNC machines, machining processes and manufacturing operations.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Willingness to work in shifts and follow safety requirements.
