About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Team Leader – Mechanical to head a multidisciplinary mechanical design team at our Chennai facility. The role focuses on delivering new Husky machine platforms, supporting critical service requests, and driving innovation, quality and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

Lead, coach, mentor and develop a team of junior, senior and specialist mechanical designers.
Oversee the design, development and release of engineering solutions for new Husky products and platform upgrades.
Manage critical service and customer support engineering requests.
Plan and schedule design activities to meet committed delivery dates aligned with business needs.
Ensure products meet defined requirements, quality standards and risk mitigation criteria.

Required profile

Proven experience leading mechanical engineering teams in a product development environment.
Strong ability to coordinate cross‑functional activities and align engineering output with business objectives.
Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
