About the role
LinkedIn is seeking a Senior Sales Manager for its Marketing Solutions team in Bengaluru/Gurgaon. The role combines leadership of a high‑performing sales team with a focus on insight‑driven, solution‑based selling to drive revenue and client value.
Key responsibilities
- Hire, lead, and coach a team of Account Directors and Client Solution Managers, ensuring skill development and high performance.
- Align team plans with portfolio success and broader business priorities, delivering results through an insights‑led sales approach.
- Provide data‑driven feedback, manage performance, and address skill gaps.
- Partner with Sales Director and cross‑functional stakeholders (Sales Ops, Insights, Marketing, Content Strategy) to execute business priorities and ESG initiatives.
- Drive revenue growth by managing senior stakeholder conversations and ensuring a client‑first mindset.
- Identify, implement, and track key performance indicators to measure customer value and revenue outcomes.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading sales teams in a B2B technology or marketing solutions environment.
- Strong ability to hire, develop, and retain top talent.
- Excellent analytical mindset with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
- Ability to collaborate across functions and influence cross‑functional initiatives.
Required skills
- Deep knowledge of LinkedIn products, workflows, and sales systems.
