Senior Area Manager – Payments & QR Acquiring

About the role

This position is open with Bajaj Finance Ltd. As part of its Payments strategy, the company is entering the QR acquiring space. The Senior Area Manager – Payments & QR Acquiring will build the business from the ground up in a defined territory, hire and lead a dedicated sales team, and oversee the deployment of QR solutions, transaction volumes and gross merchandise value (GMV).

Key responsibilities

• Set up the QR acquiring sales team from scratch, including full‑time employees and outsourced field sales executives.
• Drive execution of the QR acquiring strategy in line with the overall Payments strategy.
• Manage the rollout of QR solutions, monitor transaction volumes and GMV, and ensure targets are met.
• Achieve acquisition and revenue targets for the territory.
• Coach, develop and motivate the team to consistently hit performance goals.
