Purchasing Commodity Professional (Automotive)

About the role

The BU Purchasing Commodity Professional will manage commodity purchasing activities for multiple automotive projects and product lines. You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery, quality, and cost efficiency while adhering to OPmobility procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute commodity purchasing tasks for Commodity Purchasing Specialists.
• Follow OPmobility procedures and rules to complete tasks within agreed timelines.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction by delivering on project requirements.
• Support several projects and product lines simultaneously.
• Monitor and report on task‑related KPIs as defined.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in the automotive sector within Quality, Operations, Purchasing or related fields.
• Fluent English with strong communication abilities.
• Team‑player mindset, customer‑oriented, rigorous and results‑driven.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and work under pressure.
