Medical Doctor – GLP‑1 Weight Management Program

About the role

WatchYourHealth.com is seeking an experienced Medical Doctor to join its GLP‑1 weight‑management program. The role involves virtual consultations, clinical guidance, and monitoring of patients undergoing GLP‑1 receptor agonist therapy.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled tele‑consultations and review each patient’s file before the session.
• Take comprehensive histories, including root‑cause analysis of weight gain and mandatory secondary‑cause screening.
• Explain the science, required tests, and potential side effects during every consult.
• Prescribe strictly from the approved protocol library and refer off‑protocol cases to the endocrinology panel.
• Decline unsuitable patients with clear reasoning, alternatives, and next steps.
• Approve written advice within 10 minutes of consult closure and complete EMR documentation on‑call.
• Complete certification, training modules, mock consultations, and clinical assessments before going live.
• Participate in monthly clinical scorecards and quality reviews.

Required profile

• MBBS plus MD/DNB (Medicine) from a recognized institution.
• Prior experience with GLP‑1 medications or GLP‑based weight‑management programs.
• Strong clinical knowledge of obesity, metabolic health, diabetes, and weight‑management strategies.
• Excellent communication and patient‑counselling abilities.
• Attention to detail and adherence to defined clinical protocols.
