Retrieval Team Lead

About the role

Reveleer is seeking a Retrieval Team Lead to manage a team of Retrieval Specialists who handle large‑scale medical record retrieval projects. The role oversees production, quality, compliance and provider relationships for a program handling roughly 500,000 chases.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and manage team production, ensuring provider contacts, chart requests and retrieved charts meet monthly targets.
• Allocate chase inventory, rebalance daily assignments, and track retrieval rates, pend rates and productivity against program goals.
• Drive quality by ensuring retrieved charts are complete, legible and match request criteria, minimizing rework.
• Serve as primary contact for high‑volume Address IDs, managing provider relationships and addressing barriers to retrieval.
• Own first‑line resolution of provider escalations, document patterns and recommend workflow improvements.
• Identify and implement process improvement initiatives using operational data and team feedback.
• Mentor and coach Retrieval Specialists, conduct onboarding, training and performance feedback.
• Ensure zero compliance issues, complete mandatory training, and safeguard PHI in accordance with HIPAA.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in US healthcare medical record retrieval, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or SME role.
• Strong knowledge of retrieval channels, chart chase lifecycle, risk adjustment and HEDIS workflows.
• Proven track record of meeting production, retrieval rate and quality targets.
• Experience managing provider‑facing communication and escalation handling.

Required skills
