IT Assistant – Foundry Steel Shots Manufacturing (Raipur)

About the role

The IT Assistant will support daily computing operations for a steel shots manufacturing unit in Raipur. The role involves maintaining hardware and software, providing first‑line technical support, and ensuring system reliability for all staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line troubleshooting for hardware, software, network and printer issues.
• Set up, configure and upgrade computers, laptops, peripherals and operating systems.
• Create and manage user accounts, email access, passwords and permission controls.
• Track and manage inventory of company‑owned devices such as laptops and phones.
• Perform routine system checks, software patching, antivirus updates and data backups.

Required profile

• 2 to 5 years of relevant IT support experience.
• Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical (as per posting) or equivalent IT qualification.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator or Cisco CCNA are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace and basic networking/VPN setup.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, printers and peripheral devices.
