Travel Sales Consultant

About the role

The Travel Sales Consultant is the first point of contact for customers exploring trips with Dream On Travel. You will understand travel needs, answer questions confidently, and convert inquiries into confirmed bookings while managing your own pipeline of leads.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound inquiries via phone, WhatsApp, and social media, qualify leads and gather trip preferences, budget, and timeline.
• Explain itineraries, pricing, inclusions and exclusions clearly to build customer confidence.
• Follow up on warm leads using provided scripts, cadences and templates.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records of each lead and its status in the CRM.
• Coordinate with the operations team once a booking is confirmed to ensure smooth hand‑off.
• Report recurring objections, drop‑off points and customer feedback to marketing and leadership.

Required profile

• Graduate in any field; specialisation in marketing, communication or travel is preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in sales, telesales or customer engagement, preferably phone‑based.
• Comfortable speaking on the phone and chatting online.
• Motivated by personal targets and able to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a CRM system for lead tracking.
