Travel Consultant – Sales

About the role

The Travel Consultant – Sales is the first point of contact for customers exploring trips with Dream On Travel. You will understand travel needs, answer questions confidently, and convert inquiries into confirmed bookings while managing your own pipeline of leads.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound inquiries via phone, WhatsApp, and social media, qualify leads and assess trip preferences, budget, and timeline.
• Explain itineraries, pricing, inclusions and exclusions clearly to build customer confidence.
• Follow up on warm leads using provided scripts, cadences and templates.
• Maintain accurate records of each lead and its status in the CRM or tracking sheet.
• Coordinate with the operations team after booking to ensure seamless hand‑off of customer details.
• Report recurring customer objections and feedback to marketing and leadership.

Required profile

• Graduate in any field; specialisation in marketing, communication or travel is a plus.
• 2–5 years of experience in sales, telesales or customer engagement, preferably phone‑based.
• Comfortable speaking on the phone and via chat, motivated by personal targets.
• Early‑to‑mid career professional looking to grow within the travel‑industry sales track.
