Team Head – Sales & Service

About the role

EFU Life Assurance Ltd is seeking a Team Head to lead its sales and service team in Hyderabad. This full‑time, on‑site position reports to senior management and is responsible for driving revenue growth and delivering excellent client service.

Key responsibilities

• Set clear performance targets for the team and monitor daily activities.
• Coach, mentor and provide feedback to sales and service professionals.
• Develop and execute strategies to expand the customer base and strengthen client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare regular reports and coordinate planning initiatives with senior management.

Required profile

• Proven leadership and people‑management experience, including coaching and conflict resolution.
• Strong sales and business‑development track record with ability to set and achieve targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement and internal collaboration.
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Familiarity with life insurance, health insurance or Takaful products; financial services experience is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field; professional certifications a plus.
• Experience in a supervisory role within insurance, banking or financial services.
