Systems Administration Analyst

About the role

NTT DATA is looking for a Systems Administration Analyst to join its Coimbatore team. You will be responsible for keeping the IT environment stable, secure, and efficient across both standalone and multi‑tiered systems.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain new hardware, operating systems, and required software.
• Monitor system health, present status reports to management, and minimize service interruptions.
• Proactively assess exposure areas, reduce vulnerabilities, and maintain a risk register.
• Prepare Root Cause Analyses (RCA) and Major Incident Reports (MIR) for significant failures.
• Transfer knowledge and provide guidance to less‑experienced team members.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of IT experience, preferably in L1+ support.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and incident management.
• Ability to document RCA, MIR, and maintain risk registers.

Required skills

• Microsoft Windows Server 2003, 2008 & 2012.
• VMware ESX, vSphere, vCenter.
• Patch management tools such as SCCM, WSUS, SMS.
• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
• Microsoft Clusters and Network Load Balancing (NLB).
• Antivirus management for operating systems.
• ITIL process knowledge.
