IoT Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IoT Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end IoT initiatives, covering hardware, embedded systems, connectivity, cloud platforms and software applications. The role requires strong project management capabilities and the ability to coordinate cross‑functional technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and deliver IoT projects from initiation through completion.
• Define project scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables and resource requirements.
• Coordinate hardware, firmware, software, cloud, QA and other technical teams.
• Track progress, identify risks and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Communicate status, risks, dependencies and updates to stakeholders.
• Manage client communication and ensure requirements are clearly understood.
• Facilitate sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives in an Agile environment.
• Monitor budgets, resources, timelines and overall delivery.
• Maintain documentation of plans, requirements, technical decisions and deliverables.
• Identify dependencies and proactively manage potential delays or blockers.
• Ensure projects meet quality, security and performance expectations.
• Support continuous improvement of project management processes.

Required profile

• 4–6 years overall experience with at least 3 years managing IoT or technology projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Engineering or a related field.
• PMP, Scrum Master or similar project management certification is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of IoT architecture and connected‑device ecosystems.
• Experience with sensors, gateways, embedded systems and connectivity protocols such as MQTT.
• Knowledge of APIs and cloud platforms like AWS IoT or Azure IoT.
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools.
