Key User – Planning – D365

About the role

Alfa Laval in Pune is seeking a Key User – Planning to support the implementation and ongoing use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) within the factory’s planning function. The role bridges the gap between the ERP system and end‑users, ensuring processes are aligned with global standards and delivering continuous improvement after go‑live.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in process reviews and provide input for improvements.
• Support change‑management activities and act as the first‑line support during site roll‑out.
• Ensure local planning processes align with global standards and configure D365 accordingly.
• Define, test and document business scenarios in D365 and train local users.
• Drive data cleansing in the legacy Movex system, extract and validate data for migration.
• Coordinate post‑go‑live activities across sites, act as super‑user, and govern new processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement or production planning, preferably in an industrial environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Proven ability to train and support end‑users and to act as a bridge between IT and business teams.
• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Exposure to ERP implementations, especially Microsoft Dynamics 365, is a plus.

Required skills

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) proficiency.
• Experience with Movex or other legacy ERP systems.
• Data migration, cleansing and validation.
• Business process configuration and security role definition in ERP.
