Static Equipment Engineer – Pressure Vessels & Heat Exchangers

About the role

We are looking for a Static Equipment Engineer to support pressure vessel and heat exchanger engineering activities for ExxonMobil’s projects and manufacturing operations in Bangalore, India. The role involves providing technical expertise for operating assets and project engineering surveillance.

Key responsibilities

• Support static equipment engineering needs across projects and production facilities.
• Ensure engineering support centre service quality, effectiveness and efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership in projects and manufacturing operations.
• Conduct detailed technical evaluations of equipment design, operation and maintenance.
• Participate in root cause failure analysis and provide engineering expertise.
• Review project and contractor deliverables for compliance with specifications, design practices, Static Equipment Toolkit guidance and best practices, including P&IDs, equipment arrangements and specifications.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience with static equipment such as pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop solutions.
• Strong understanding of design standards and industry best practices.
