Group Leader – Quality Management Systems & Labs

About the role

Bosch Automotive Electronics India is seeking a Group Leader to drive its Quality Management System across laboratories and manufacturing. The role will lead quality strategy, audits and compliance for automotive electronic products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and sustain the QMS in line with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, customer‑specific and corporate standards.
• Plan and govern internal, process, product, customer and certification audits, ensuring effective closure through RCA and CAPA.
• Ensure regulatory, safety and product conformity compliance for NhP1 products and processes.
• Build quality competencies via the Quality Academy, coaching, auditor qualification and laboratory skill development.
• Oversee investment, calibration and certification of quality laboratories to maintain availability and performance targets.
• Control in‑process quality gates from new product launch through end‑of‑life.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical or Industrial Engineering; Master’s in Operations/Quality is desirable.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, preferably in electronics manufacturing quality, with leadership responsibility.
• Proven experience in an international environment and handling OEM customers.

• ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Action/Preventive Action (CAPA) methodologies.
• Quality Management System (QMS) implementation.
• Laboratory calibration and certification procedures.
