Process Owner – Milling & Plasma Cleaning

About the role

Bosch Automotive Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. (RBAI) is looking for a Process Owner to lead the Milling and Plasma cleaning processes. The role involves preparing production readiness for new products, driving continuous improvement, and solving complex technical issues.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, validate and document production readiness for NPI and ECR.
• Coordinate design approval, line build, pre‑acceptance, installation and line release.
• Provide 2nd‑level machine downtime resolution and guidance.
• Resolve internal and customer defects using 7QC tools and PDCA methodology.
• Lead process improvement initiatives (utilisation, POKAYOKE, CIP projects).
• Manage process and customer audits, capability studies and calibration activities.
• Drive PFMEA, CP and FPY improvements.
• Develop new processes, standard templates and share knowledge internally and externally.
• Benchmark, localise tooling, improve tool life and reduce cycle time using DOE.
• Coordinate with development and lead plants for new product introductions.

Required profile

• BE in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical/Tool & Die Engineering.
• Strong technical problem‑solving skills with experience in root‑cause analysis, DOE, PDCA, FMEA and process capability.
• Ability to create and maintain dashboards (Tableau, Power BI) for failure analysis.
• Willingness to learn quickly, work independently, give and receive qualified feedback, and coach others.

• PCBA milling process and tooling/fixtures.
• ADC laser cleaning process and PCBA cleaning.
• 7QC tools, PDCA, POKAYOKE, CIP.
• PFMEA, FMEA, process capability analysis.
• Design of Experiments (DOE) for cycle‑time reduction.
• Dashboard creation with Tableau and Power BI.
• Calibration and capability assessment.
