Staff Software Engineer, Full-Stack

About the role

Faeth Therapeutics is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the architecture and technical direction of its core platform. You will work remotely from India, collaborating with a small, fully remote engineering team to build a secure, high‑performance multi‑tenant SaaS product.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the platform architecture, covering data layer, API surface, frontend, and deployment infrastructure.
• Write production code daily using React, TypeScript, Node.js/NestJS, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
• Design multi‑tenant isolation, role‑based access, and per‑tenant configuration at scale.
• Embed security throughout the stack, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and OWASP compliance.
• Profile, benchmark, and optimise performance across database queries, caching, and frontend rendering.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with significant full‑stack work at scale.
• Proven ability to make foundational architectural decisions and own their outcomes.
• Experience thriving in high‑ambiguity, fast‑moving environments with limited resources.
• Security‑first mindset, familiar with OWASP Top 10 and threat modelling.
