Senior Salesforce Software Engineer

About the role

Join the AI Innovation team within Digital Business Solutions to design and deliver advanced, AI‑enabled Salesforce solutions for a 2,000+ user ecosystem. You will work across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, Experience Cloud and integrated platforms, turning business challenges into scalable, compliant applications.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with analysts, admins and technical peers to define detailed requirements and translate them into robust Salesforce architectures.
• Develop and maintain custom Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura, Flow and AI‑driven agents, ensuring high performance and adherence to governance.
• Lead complex bug‑fixes and integrations with Gainsight, Monday.com, Oracle Incentive Compensation and other third‑party systems.
• Mentor junior engineers, promote AI‑assisted development best practices, and oversee release management and compliance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years delivering enterprise Salesforce solutions.
• BS in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent; Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required.
• Experience in regulated or audit‑heavy environments is a plus.

Required skills

• Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components, Aura, JavaScript, Flow, REST/SOAP APIs.
• Salesforce data modeling, bulkification, governor‑limit aware design, and large‑data‑volume architecture.
• Integration tools such as MuleSoft, Salesforce Connect, Platform Events, Change Data Capture.
• AI‑assisted development tools (Agentforce, Einstein Copilot, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Salesforce Code Genie, Cursor) and prompt‑engineering practices.
• CI/CD pipelines using Copado, Gearset, Salesforce DX/SFDX.
