Systems Engineer III – Cloud Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a Systems Engineer III to design, build and maintain scalable, secure AWS infrastructure. The role sits in the Technology, Infrastructure and Operations group and works closely with global engineering teams to deliver reliable cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Create and optimise CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) for fast software delivery.
• Implement observability solutions (monitoring, logging, alerting) with tools such as New Relic, Prometheus and the ELK stack.
• Troubleshoot complex production incidents and lead root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to improve performance, reliability and developer productivity.
• Drive cloud cost optimisation and governance.
• Contribute to automation initiatives and shared platform engineering across global DevOps teams.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on DevOps or cloud engineering experience in a product‑focused environment.
• Strong experience with AWS services and production Kubernetes clusters.
• Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid knowledge of monitoring and observability tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Ability to work independently and own end‑to‑end delivery in a distributed team.
