Staff Nurse – Patient Care Specialist

About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join its clinical team. The role involves delivering high‑quality nursing care, supporting patients and families, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a hospital setting.

Key responsibilities

• Record patients' medical history and symptoms accurately.
• Administer medication, treatments, and point‑of‑care tests.
• Collaborate with doctors and allied health professionals to plan and implement patient care.
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor patients' health status.
• Provide bedside care, operate medical equipment, and maintain inventory of supplies.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and post‑discharge care.
• Participate in regular in‑service education and training sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and a nursing qualification (GNM, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing).
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal, listening and teamwork abilities.
• Effective communication, coordination and initiative in patient care.
• Compassionate, patient‑focused attitude with moral support for patients.
