Nursing Officer – Patient Care

About the role

We are seeking a Nursing Officer to join Apollo Hospitals in India. The role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients across various departments, maintaining accurate medical records, and supporting the multidisciplinary team in delivering high‑quality health services.

Key responsibilities

• Record patients’ medical history, symptoms and vital signs.
• Administer medications, treatments and point‑of‑care tests.
• Collaborate with doctors and allied health professionals to develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Conduct nursing assessments and monitor patients’ health status.
• Provide bedside care, education and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure proper operation of medical equipment.
• Participate in regular in‑service education and training sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate in GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing with first‑division marks in 10th, 12th and graduation.
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, teamwork orientation and initiative.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
