About the role
The Shift Incharge will supervise and manage shift‑wise production activities in a ferro‑alloys plant, ensuring smooth furnace operations and meeting production targets.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise shift‑wise production activities in the ferro‑alloys plant.
- Monitor submerged arc furnace (SAF) operations and control parameters such as temperature, voltage, current and power consumption.
- Ensure proper raw material charging, melting and alloy production.
- Achieve shift‑wise production targets while maintaining product quality.
- Allocate duties to furnace operators and oversee safety compliance.
