Service Engineer – Underground Mining Equipment

About the role

Sandvik Mining is seeking a Service Engineer to support underground mining equipment, including loaders, trucks, and drills. You will ensure the reliability and safety of our machinery through proactive maintenance and rapid fault resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and auto‑electrical maintenance, repairs, and fault diagnosis on all Sandvik underground equipment.
• Execute tasks according to established maintenance plans while maintaining accurate records of parts usage, equipment monitoring, and time logs.
• Provide feedback to improve maintenance planning and operational efficiency.
• Maintain shift records with proper justification and collaborate closely with the customer service team.
• Adhere strictly to all company policies, especially health, safety, and environmental (EHS) standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or BE in Engineering.
• Minimum 5–6 years of experience with underground loaders, trucks, or drilling equipment.
• Strong safety culture, excellent communication, and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work under pressure while meeting targets.
