About the role

Join Mastercard’s Statutory Centre of Excellence to lead global statutory reporting and manage a team of finance professionals. You will oversee external audits, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and drive process improvements across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Perform complex accounting activities, including sub‑ledger accounting and preparation of high‑level financial statements.
• Analyze financial performance, exercise judgment on complex issues, and make recommendations to leadership.
• Determine issue complexity, escalate when necessary, and support implementation of process improvements.
• Support SOX compliance and assist with internal control enhancements.
• Maintain strong relationships with business partners, internal stakeholders, and external auditors.
• Research, interpret, and apply accounting guidance such as GAAP to ensure consistent treatment in financial statements.

Required profile

• Self‑starter with a solid finance background in statutory accounting.
• Strong technical accounting expertise and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to drive projects to completion with a “can‑do” attitude.
• Excellent judgment and ability to work independently.
