Senior Accountant – Asia Pacific Finance

About the role

Lead and oversee regional accounting and tax activities across Asia Pacific, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, strong financial controls, and continuous process improvement to support business and Group reporting requirements. You will be responsible for multi‑country financial closures and cross‑border tax compliance for local and group reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Drive monthly and quarterly Group reporting, ensuring timely completion and adherence to Group Accounting Guidelines.
• Lead balance‑sheet reviews, multi‑currency reporting, and inter‑company balance reconciliation.
• Oversee regional tax compliance, quarterly tax reporting, and annual tax drift, including provisions and deferred tax calculations.
• Coordinate statutory audits, interpret accounting standards, and implement internal financial controls.
• Support finance transformation projects, process automation, and system implementations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline.
• Qualified Accountant from a recognized accounting institution.
• 10+ years of relevant experience with strong knowledge of accounting and tax reporting across Asia.
• Experience in audit, tax qualification, or the insurance industry is an asset.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and ability to work independently under pressure.
