Regional Procurement Manager

About the role

The Regional Procurement Manager will lead procurement activities across the Asia‑Pacific region for Coface, supporting both regional and local teams. Reporting to the Head of Regional Controlling, the role involves shaping purchasing strategy, managing supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with corporate policies. The position can be based in Bengaluru, with flexibility to work from Mumbai or Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain regional procurement policies and drive continuous improvement to optimise purchase costs.
• Negotiate contracts covering price, delivery, payment terms, quality and warranty with suppliers.
• Analyse specifications, evaluate market offers, pre‑qualify suppliers and oversee delivery performance.
• Maintain accurate purchase records, produce ad‑hoc reports and support internal audit requirements.
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Compliance and Finance to ensure regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.

Required profile

• University degree in Business, Finance or related field; specialization in International Purchase Management is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate procurement, preferably in an international environment.
• Strong analytical, organisational and leadership abilities with excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with management information systems.
