Senior Segment Controller – Accounting

About the role

Lead a team of accounting and analytical staff members to build a disciplined accounting and financial reporting structure for an $80M revenue stream. Leverage your expertise to develop best‑practice finance processes and ensure compliance with US GAAP and SOX.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly accounting close, personnel, and compliance with financial controls.
• Maintain strong relationships with title and real‑estate closing teams for accurate remittance and reporting.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, analyze results, and explain key variances.
• Oversee internal and external audits, quarterly reviews, insurance filings, and ad‑hoc regulatory requirements.
• Partner with operational leaders and corporate strategy on annual budgeting and forecasting.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 10+ years in accounting leadership at multinational firms.
• Big 4 experience in audit or accounting, strong attention to detail, and proven people‑management skills.
• Hands‑on knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS and SOX compliance.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities in English.
