Operations Analyst – Exception Processing

About the role

The Operations Analyst – Exception Processing is responsible for accurate and timely processing of operational requests across retail and commercial banking products. The role involves handling reconciliations, journal entries, query resolution and ensuring all activities meet SLA requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑level customer service to internal and external customers, keeping them informed of progress.
• Manage and monitor daily request processing in line with bank policies, procedures and customer instructions.
• Identify process gaps, implement internal controls and mitigate operational risk.
• Support team changes, recommend improvements and guide employees toward goal achievement.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of accounts and financial concepts.
• Knowledge of retail and commercial banking operations, including reconciliation and journal entries.
• Ability to allocate work effectively and ensure accurate processing of requests.
• Experience in customer support and query resolution.
