Senior Mechanical Engineer – FA Line Specialist

About the role

Bosch Automotive Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. (RBAI) is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead mechanical maintenance on its final assembly (FA) line. The role focuses on ensuring high availability and reliability of mechanical process machines in a high‑tech automotive electronics plant.

Key responsibilities

• Perform corrective maintenance on press‑fit, molding‑dispensing, conveyor, robot and special‑purpose machines.
• Maintain technical availability of mechanical equipment and the FA line.
• Apply RCA methods (5 Why, A3PSS) to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Monitor and improve MTBF and MTTR metrics.
• Plan spare parts, tooling and consumables for preventive and corrective activities.
• Drive continuous improvement of preventive maintenance and eliminate recurring problems.
• Conduct condition monitoring and predictive maintenance, leveraging Industry 4.0 concepts.
• Prepare breakdown reports, spare‑part consumption logs and PDCA analyses.

Required profile

• Senior‑level engineer with extensive experience in mechanical maintenance of production equipment.
• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with systematic troubleshooting methods.
• Ability to work on‑site in a manufacturing environment and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
