Project Engineer – Product Transfer

About the role

The Project Engineer – Product Transfer will support the implementation of process improvements and manage Supplier Initiated Change Requests (SICRs) across corporate, site and division levels. This hybrid role involves coordinating with global suppliers, internal stakeholders and ensuring smooth execution of product transfers.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute SICR submissions, challenge suppliers for completeness, and maintain related electronic systems and databases.
• Organize SCRB meetings with key stakeholders, obtain buy‑in for change types, and approve deliverables from suppliers.
• Execute ECR/ECNs and promotion requests in OnePLM, and monitor SICR KPIs.
• Support global SICR initiatives and act as a communication hub for internal and external customers.

Required profile

• Honors Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of GMP, ISO 13485 and 21 CFR Part 820 standards.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for business needs.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with PPAP, MSA and SPC documentation.
• Validation activities – IQ, OQ and PQ.
• Manufacturing processes such as welding, molding and machining.
• PFMEA and Control Plan development.
• Continuous improvement methodologies and KPI monitoring.
• Proficiency with OnePLM, ECR/ECN processes and SICR data management.
