Senior Mechanical Engineer – Automotive Display Solutions

About the role

Be part of the mechanical engineering team developing automotive display solutions. The position involves system‑level requirement engineering and product integration within a multinational environment. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure product performance, safety and cost targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop automotive display products.
• Lead product development through all phases—from requirement analysis and concept definition to detailed design, verification, validation and release for mass production.
• Prepare engineering documentation, specifications and technical reports.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality and supplier engineering to support prototype testing and production launch.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical design and product development.

Required skills

• Advanced CAD modeling with CATIA and CREO (also SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Design for plastic injection molding, metal stamping and die casting.
• Knowledge of plastic optical component design and secondary processes such as laser cutting, plating, vacuum metallization, in‑mould decoration, spray painting, hot stamping and silk screen.
• Design analysis, tolerance stack calculations and design‑for‑manufacturing.
• Experience with FEA/CFD tools (ANSYS, Abaqus) and troubleshooting.
