Senior Labor & Compliance Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a senior professional to lead the design, implementation and oversight of our labor and compliance framework. The role combines legal advisory, risk management and vendor governance to ensure robust compliance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a “to‑be” labor compliance framework with risk prioritisation, controls and safeguards.
• Manage end‑to‑end compliance audits, conduct risk assessments, perform root‑cause analysis and drive time‑bound remediation plans.
• Provide legal advisory on complex regulatory and interpretational matters and contribute to governance policies.
• Develop and operate a vendor governance framework covering the full vendor lifecycle to monitor and safeguard compliance performance.
• Act as subject‑matter expert on labor and employment laws, handling employee disputes, notices and inspections.
• Draft, review and negotiate high‑value commercial contracts, ensuring alignment with regulatory and municipal requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B.); LLM preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience in labor and employment law, compliance, preferably within a corporate or consulting environment.
• Proven track record in designing compliance frameworks and managing vendor compliance.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in risk assessment and remediation planning.
