Assistant Manager – Export Control & Sanctions Operations

About the role

The Assistant Manager will act as the Shift Lead for the Sanction Party List (SPL) screening operation, ensuring smooth execution of export control and sanctions processes during each shift. You will coordinate workflow allocation, monitor service level agreements, and serve as the first point of escalation for operational queries.

Key responsibilities

• Handle SPL operations during the shift
• Allocate and manage workflow tasks
• Manage mailers and respond to stakeholder queries
• Monitor workflow performance and SLA compliance
• Maintain and consolidate activity trackers for the shift
• Track and report errors encountered during the shift
• Conduct takeover and handover activities at shift changes
• Communicate and implement work instructions to shift members
• Provide first‑level query resolution and act as the primary escalation point

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (e.g., B.Com, M.Com, B.Sc, B.A., B.Tech, BCA, MBA)
• 2–5 years of experience in export control and sanctions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities
• Ability to work independently, coordinate activities and collaborate across global teams

Required skills

• Working knowledge of SAP GTS
• Proficiency with Power BI
• Experience using AI tools
• Advanced Microsoft Office application skills
