Senior Director of Operations

About the role
Nextpower is seeking a Senior Director of Operations to lead its project portfolio across India, Angola and neighboring regions. Based in Hyderabad, you will report to the Vice President of Global Operations and drive end‑to‑end delivery of solar power plant projects.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee multiple projects from procurement through commissioning, ensuring safety, quality and schedule adherence.
- Manage a team of Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, Construction Managers and engineers.
- Handle customer accounts, resolve escalations, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate logistics, third‑party agencies and manpower deployment to meet contractual obligations.
- Control project finances, budgets and reporting.
- Promote and enforce WHS principles and company safety policies on all sites.
