Senior Business Analyst

About the role

As a Senior Business Analyst in the Transformation Delivery Hub, you will accelerate delivery of projects and programs by leading requirements gathering, analysing processes, and translating business objectives into actionable specifications for delivery teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead analysis of complex business problems, opportunities and strategic initiatives, providing recommendations that support decision‑making and business outcomes.
• Assess solution options, feasibility, business impacts, risks, costs and benefits to support investment decisions.
• Lead end‑to‑end requirements strategy, governance and lifecycle management, ensuring alignment between business objectives, scope and delivery outcomes.
• Conduct current‑state and future‑state analysis, identifying opportunities to improve processes, customer outcomes and operating models.
• Develop and maintain complex business, process and data models to support strategic planning and solution design.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a strategic advisor and influencing decisions.
• Facilitate workshops, negotiations and decision‑making forums to achieve alignment across business, technology and delivery teams.
• Provide leadership for solution validation, acceptance testing, business readiness and implementation activities.
• Lead change impact assessments and benefits realisation.
• Coach and mentor Business Analysts, contributing to capability uplift across teams.

Required profile

• Strong strategic business analysis and problem‑solving skills, including root‑cause analysis and solution evaluation.
• Experience in requirements leadership, governance, scope management and prioritisation.
• Proficiency in business process and data analysis, with a focus on process improvement.
• Ability to develop business cases, manage benefits and engage senior stakeholders.
• Facilitation, influencing and negotiation skills for stakeholder alignment.

Required skills

• Advanced process‑modelling techniques using Visio.
• BPMN diagramming.
• Data modelling tools or equivalent.
