Senior Analyst – Credit Analysis – UK & Europe

About the role

The role sits within the Research & Analysis function supporting ANZ's UK & Europe Corporate Banking business. You will work on a diverse portfolio of institutional clients, conducting credit analysis and managing risk throughout the credit lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial, business and industry analysis for institutional corporate clients.
• Prepare high‑quality credit submissions, annual reviews and recommendations.
• Manage end‑to‑end credit processes including risk grading, approval support, documentation review and portfolio monitoring.
• Partner with Relationship Managers and Credit teams on risk, performance and transaction matters.
• Monitor covenant compliance, limit maintenance and regulatory requirements.
• Identify emerging risks and proactively escalate issues.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years experience in credit risk, corporate banking, portfolio management or financial analysis.
• Strong credit analysis and report writing abilities.
• Understanding of banking operations and products.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant, MBA Finance or equivalent advanced degree.
