About the role
The PC Equities Analyst will work with the Line PC team to ensure the completeness and accuracy of profit & loss and balance sheet reporting. The role involves monitoring trading activity for compliance, providing technical and operational analysis, and collaborating with Front Office, Financial Control and Technology teams.
Key responsibilities
- Reconcile daily P&L figures for trading desks and investigate any discrepancies.
- Support identification, assessment and mitigation of trading risks and report them to senior colleagues.
- Maintain and analyse trading data, ensuring accuracy and providing performance insights.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports and support external audits.
- Communicate complex financial information to traders, risk professionals and senior stakeholders.
Required profile
- Qualified accountant with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with audit exposure in large financial institutions or banks.
- Ability to identify and escalate potential control breakdowns.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the MS Office toolkit.
