Associate – Credit Analysis

About the role

The Associate – Credit Analysis role is part of ANZ's Institutional Research & Analysis team, focusing on corporate clients in the Americas. You will manage a portfolio of large corporate customers, providing real‑time business and financial analysis to support credit decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed financial, business and industry analysis for corporate clients.
• Prepare high‑quality credit submissions, annual reviews and credit memoranda.
• Assess risks related to capital structures, management teams and financial performance.
• Manage risk grading events and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
• Partner with Relationship Managers and Credit teams on client performance and risk matters.
• Support transaction execution through review and coordination of deal documentation.

Required profile

• 6‑7 years of experience in credit analysis or research.
• Strong business and commercial acumen with ability to identify and assess risks.
• Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA Finance, Master’s in Economics or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent report‑writing and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
