About the role

The Institutional Research & Analysis Associate independently manages credit assessment of a portfolio, providing risk control, industry insights, and preparing credit memoranda for portfolio management.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct credit assessment and risk control for assigned client groups.
• Participate in deal structuring discussions with product, relationship, and risk teams.
• Prepare workshop papers and credit memoranda for new proposals and reviews in line with bank standards.
• Identify issues affecting customers' credit standing, seek clarification, and formulate action plans.
• Ensure compliance with group credit policies, regulatory requirements, and data integrity.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in cash‑flow lending, capital structure and security arrangements.
• Robust knowledge of core banking products, risks and operational processes.
• In‑depth understanding of financial and non‑financial strategies of corporate clients.
• Relevant tertiary qualification (degree essential; Masters, MBA, CA, CFA highly regarded).
