GB/G Cost Center & Profitability Analyst

About the role

The GB/G Cost Center & Profitability Analyst will analyze inventories and provide insights to mitigate product cost impacts for business units. This position supports BASF's new Global Hub in India and works within a globally integrated finance and HR team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily and monthly Cost Center Accounting, Income Statement, and Non‑Trade processes for BASF group companies.
• Distribute expenses across cost objects and generate monthly income statements for decision‑making.
• Ensure consistency between financial and management modules and allocate positions in income statements accurately.
• Support process improvement, automation, audit, internal control, and efficiency initiatives.

Required profile

• Graduate in Public Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• 3‑5 years of relevant experience with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, fast‑paced global environment with high attention to detail.
