Senior Business Analyst – Data & Distribution

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the Product Engagement team within its Digital, Distribution and Enterprise Engineering organization. The role focuses on understanding and improving investment and distribution data processes, translating business needs into technical solutions, and supporting product owners throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Review end‑to‑end distribution processes to identify operational, financial and technological risks.
• Gather and translate business and data requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Support product owners in scope management, resolve requirement‑related impediments, and assist with system and user‑acceptance testing.
• Conduct interviews, workshops and surveys to capture stakeholder needs and document use cases.
• Provide regular status updates to senior management and project teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field.
• 5‑6 years of business and data analysis experience, including 4‑7 years in investment management or financial services.
• Proven ability to work in a scaled‑agile environment and manage multiple stakeholder requests.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and relationship‑building skills.

Required skills

• SQL scripting and query development.
• Python programming for data transformation.
• Data lifecycle, governance, master data management and data modeling concepts.
• Business intelligence and analytics fundamentals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
