Quantitative Analyst

About the role

Join Invesco's Hyderabad-based Separately Managed Accounts (SMA) team to build and enhance scalable datasets, analytics, dashboards, and reporting for equity and fixed‑income SMA strategies. You will work closely with portfolio managers, performance, operations, product, and technology teams to deliver high‑quality analytical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines, analytics, and dashboards for SMA performance, after‑tax, composite, and tax‑lot data.
• Design and automate production workflows, reconciliations, and controls to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Own month‑end analytical processes, including exception investigation, results validation, and timely delivery.
• Analyse portfolio, transaction, benchmark, performance, and tax‑lot data to identify trends and explain results.
• Partner with investment, operations, product, and technology teams to translate business requirements into production‑ready solutions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in investment management, quantitative analytics, financial services, or a comparable data‑intensive environment.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in relational data modelling and production pipelines.
• Experience implementing data‑quality controls, reconciliations, exception monitoring, and automated workflows.
• Proven ability to investigate complex data issues, communicate findings clearly, and meet time‑sensitive deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Finance, or Economics.
