Analyst – Proxy Voting

About the role

The Proxy Voting Analyst will support the end‑to‑end proxy voting process for Invesco’s Investment Stewardship team in Hyderabad. You will work closely with portfolio managers, custodians, technology teams and compliance to ensure accurate and timely vote execution across client accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Execute proxy voting activities including ballot monitoring, vote instruction preparation, voting execution and post‑vote oversight.
• Maintain and reconcile proxy voting accounts, conduct audits and manage exceptions to ensure data integrity.
• Develop expertise in proxy voting platforms, monitor voting deadlines and escalate issues promptly.
• Support annual SEC regulatory reporting (Form N‑PX) and regional reporting requirements.
• Research corporate governance trends and provide insights for stewardship projects and client reporting.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in finance or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in capital markets, preferably asset management.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Passing any level of CFA is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience using Python for automation and reporting.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools.
